Alzheimer's Disease (AD)

Alzheimer's Disease is a general term for memory loss and other intellectual abilities serious enough to interfere with daily life. Up to 5% of people with the disease have early onset Alzheimer's.

Human umbilical cord MSCs are being scrutinized as a potential therapeutic tool to prevent and treat Alzheimer's Disease. Demonstrated cognitive rescue with restoration of learning/ memory function suggest that human umbilical cord MSCs warrant further investigation as a potential therapeutic agent in Alzheimer's Disease.
